About Yaritza Rodriguez
Yaritza Gisell Rodriguez Jauregui, born in Huntington Park, Calif. and raised in Compton, Calif, is the trilingual, or as some might say "wanna be" trilingual (English, Spanish, and very basic French understanding) middle child of three in a Mexican household.
Regardless of being born in the middle of constant violence, she grew up being in the top percentage of her class year, graduating middle school with a 4.0 GPA, straight As all three years; graduating with a 3.9 in high school. In her junior year, she was a participant in Hispanas Organized for Political Equality- a nonprofit organization that working to provide a critical voice to Latinas to develop their personal growth, prosperity, and political clout.
Now in her third year student under the Public Relations major at California State University, Long Beach, she has expanded her knowledge regarding the field and developed various techniques, along side from learning from PRSSA (Public Relation Student Society of America) in which she is a member.
On a more relatable note, she is a soccer enthusiast, she's actually coach assistant to her father's soccer team. As well, she enjoys drinking her vanilla ice coffee while reading a book or listening to music.

Environmental Health Coalition
Created a crisis communication plan for the nonprofit organization Environmental Health Coalition in case a volunteer, member, staff or children got injured during an event, march or field trip.
Long Beach Music Council
Currently working along side Long Beach Music Council-a nonprofit organization that is working to make Long Beach a music friendly destination and advocate for the benefits of incorporating live music as a major economic driver for our city- to create various public relations material for the organization.
